Jay Aluru

I take the honour for being a fellow at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore under a jayprogram Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), under which only 12 students were selected all over India, where I ranked 3rd among them.

In 2013 summer I have done my internship at IISC, Bangalore in Speaker Recognition under Principle research scientist, G N Rathna, where I learned a lot many ways of digital signal processing and their applications, during same summer I have done a study work at south central Railways headquarters, Secunderabad on Internet communications under Senior Divisional Signal & Telecommunication Engineer, K Laxman where I studied the way how railway internet works.

In 2012 summer I have done my internship at IIT-Bombay in Digital logics under senior professor, Mahesh B. Patil, which is my building block of digital world, before which I have done a mechanical project on high air flow of ceiling fan for kVPY, which later got selected in further rounds and paved my way to this stage.

I have been an active member of our student community consisting of 15 students of various branches. We meet once in a week to discuss various technologies and development in various fields thus I share and attain knowledge simultaneously.

Regarding extra-curricular activities, I am the co-ordinator for Electronics departmental events of the technical fest which is happening (Oct 23-25) in our college. Co-coordinator and a volunteer in previous versions of the fest  Even an active member of student chapter Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (IETE), beyond which I am the Entertainment secretary of our Hostel, where I live. Actively participated in various techno-management fests conducted by several colleges across India. I was Badminton player in our first year of Engineering.
